Why are the Arizona Cardinals the home team in the Super Bowl?
I was reading yahoo sports about the teams electing their jersey colors, and noticed that it said “the Cardinals, as the home team,..”. I was just wondering why Arizona is considered the home team, when the Steelers were 2nd seed whereas the Cardinals were a 4 seed
It’s the NFC’s turn to be the home team…they rotate each year.
What’s it matter!!
NFC teams are the home team in odd numbered years. AFC teams are the home team in even numbered years.
