arizona landscaping plants

Improved methods of landscaping in southern Arizona?

I have had a one-yard garden for 5 + years because I do not want to do it wrong. Of the 5 contractors who had to give me ideas to estimates, none of them never returned to me. I figured it was harder than I thought. anyway, what are the methods, layer by layer the material yard needs to be fixed? How do I prevent weeds from growing through the base layer and landscaping again? What are the most Mainenance plants the open desert, I can landscape? What irrigation system should be used?

Your best bet is to look around your neighborhood to see who has to maintain your yard, and who not. There are many options out there, it is difficult to offer a single proposal. If you want to xeriscape, you will not need an irrigation system, once your plants are well established, can survive on what nature offers. Do not be afraid if you make a mistake, can correct it. Change is good, but you have to put on something that may or may not be the look you are seeking. If we do nothing, you'll never know. You do not have to do the whole yard at once, start with a zone, develop a plan and then execute it. Be sure to consider the view from inside your house as well as curb appeal.
